Warranty Policy
WARRANTY POLICY
Effective Date: March 28, 2026
Dongguan Qunhai Electronics Co., Ltd. provides a limited warranty for products purchased directly from BodyCameraOEM, subject to the terms below.
1. Standard Warranty Coverage
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- Main body camera units, standalone recorders, smart recorders, intelligent helmet recorders, and data collection stations:
12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.
- Accessories, clips, cables, chargers, wearable mounts, and other consumable or easy-wear parts:
3-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.
The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal and intended use.
2. What We Will Do
If a valid warranty claim is confirmed, we may, at our discretion:
- repair the product,
- replace the product with the same or equivalent model,
- replace defective parts,
- provide another commercially reasonable remedy.
3. What Is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not cover:
- damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, or improper storage
- unauthorized opening, disassembly, modification, repair, or alteration
- damage caused by use outside product specifications or instructions
- damage caused by improper charging, unstable power supply, or incompatible accessories
- cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, or normal aging
- consumable wear, including reduced battery capacity through normal use
- water, dust, or impact damage beyond the product's rated specification or intended use
- software issues caused by third-party systems or unauthorized firmware changes
- loss of recordings, evidence files, metadata, settings, or business data
- damage caused during return shipping due to poor packaging
- serial number removal, tampering, or mismatch
- products not purchased directly from us, unless otherwise agreed in writing
4. OEM / ODM / Custom Products
For custom products, warranty applies only to agreed specifications and manufacturing quality. We are not responsible for defects caused by customer-approved design choices, customer-supplied materials, customer-specified components, or requested custom functions beyond our standard recommendations.
5. Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty claim, please email 2508946883@qq.com with:
- order number,
- product model,
- serial number,
- description of the problem,
- photos or videos showing the defect,
- troubleshooting already attempted.
We may ask you to complete remote troubleshooting before authorizing return or repair.
6. Return for Warranty Service
If a product needs to be returned, we will provide return instructions. The customer is responsible for shipping the product to the designated service location unless we confirm otherwise in writing. We will determine the return shipping arrangement for repaired or replacement items based on the case.
7. Data Backup
Before sending any product for service, the customer must back up all data and remove sensitive information where possible. We are not liable for any loss of recordings, evidence, configuration, or stored data.
8. Limitation
This warranty is the exclusive product warranty unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing. No reseller, agent, or third party is authorized to modify this warranty without our written approval.
